Monseigneur Arm chair
French designer, Philippe Stark has created another Most Excellent furniture collection for Driade, Italy. The "Monseigneur" collection features a lounge chair, arm chair, sofa and ottoman or "pouf".
This furniture incorporates one of my favorite design techniques - the combination or "foiling" of a variety of elements or materials to compose a whole. As is the case here, Stark uses Mahogany wood or Ebonized Ashwood, stainless steel and quilted leather to create these furnishings. The pieces are available in either white leather with the Mahogany wood or black leather with back legs composed of an Ebonized Ashwood.
