KleinReid is a porcelain design studio that excels in creating contemporary studio pottery. The firm's founders James Klein and David Reid met in high school in Akron, Ohio and were later trained as artists, (MFAs from Alfred University and Cranbrook Academy of Art respectively). The duo began collaborating as KleinReid in 1993 hand-making elegant vases, objet, lighting and serve-ware. Each and every work of art created by KleinReid is meticulously made using porcelain and glazes hand-mixed from the studio's own recipes.
