While walking around SoHo, New York City this past weekend I discovered Distant Origin, a rather spectacular shop and design atelier on Mercer Street. My favorite pieces in the store were their "Photo Furniture". Whimsical and a lot of fun, I can see a piece or two of their furniture perfectly placed as a "jewel piece" into a well-designed room. I adore a distinct and special piece that makes a big statement, inspires conversation and sparks interest! I believe interior design is about creating some magic.
