I have taken a fond liking to Roche Bobois's Volutes console. I think the bronze detailing and antiqued turquoise finish is just beautiful. This is a terrific jewel piece in the right space. The console features two curved drawers, a solid cherry wood frame with interiors in solid oak. The Volutes console is assembled by tenons, mortises and dovetails and, as shown here, in blue lacquer. An antique patina, hand-waxed skim coat finish and ornate bronze handles complete the piece. Available here.
